Industry (TWIN) Award<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The TWIN award encourages advancement opportunities for women in the workplace by spotlighting the exceptional achievements and efforts of women who hold integral positions in their organizations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to her work at UC San Diego, Lisa is also the director of the Mental Health in Aging Unit of the Mental Illness Research, Education and Clinical Center at the VA San Diego Healthcare System, where she mentors students, supports federally funded research projects, and implements and prioritizes compassion into medical student curriculum.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisa\u2019s additional leadership roles include leading the Department of Psychiatry\u2019s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Action Council, serving on the UC San Diego Women in Health Sciences planning committee, leading the Health Sciences\u2019 EDI Ambassador group, previously advising for the Chi Omega chapter at UC San Diego, serving as a Girl Scout troop leader, and leading the Clairemont Coalition on Homelessness.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This information was provided by UC San Diego\u2019s Office of the Chancellor and <a href=\"https:\/\/statusofwomen.ucsd.edu\/events\/twin-award.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/statusofwomen.ucsd.edu\/events\/twin-award.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Committee on the Status of Women<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>YWCA San Diego County recognizes Lisa Eyler for her achievements in multiple leadership roles at UC San Diego, the VA San Diego Healthcare System, and more with the Tribute to Women &#038;
